More Than $1 Million To Be Given Away During Super Bowl LVI Squares Sweepstakes

Leaders at Rocket Mortgage say entries are open for the world’s largest official game of Super Bowl squares.

The Detroit-based company announced on Wednesday that two grand prize winners will receive $500,000 each that can go toward a dream home.

$50,000 will be awarded every time the score changes.

Bob Walters, CEO of Rocket Mortgage, said watching the Super Bowl has been a staple of American culture for the last 55 years. Introducing the Rocket Mortgage Super Bowl Squares in 2020 has elevated that experience for millions of viewers across the country, he said.

“Past winners have had their lives transformed and we are eager to give more Americans that opportunity again this year,” Walters said in a statement.

Derrick Collins, a Pennsylvania resident who was one of two grand prize winners in 2021, is one of those people.

“When I entered the giveaway for fun, I let my mind wander to ‘What if I won the grand prize?’ but I never thought it would be me. I hope my story inspires others who are thinking about entering – it just might change your life,” Collins said in a statement.

Those hoping to win big can enter for free on Rocket Mortgage’s dedicated page.

Super Bowl LVI is scheduled for February 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. VIP On The Fifty With Postgame Field Access and Hospitality tickets start at $7,158 each on Ticketmaster.

The game will be broadcast on NBC and Telemundo. It will be streamed on Peacock.

Kickoff time is 6:30 p.m.

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blidge, and Kendrick Lamar are scheduled to perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.

The five musicians have collectively been awarded 43 Grammys, according to NBC News.

This is wild card weekend with games scheduled for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
