Fidelity National Financial Names Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer

Title insurance provider Fidelity National Financial is upping its technology game by naming a Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer.

Chief Digital Officer Jason Nadeau takes on an expanded role in the position, focusing on incorporating AI into the company’s operations and client experience. He will add this focus to his original duties as Chief Digital Officer.

“FNF’s overall technology vision has always included emerging technologies,” said Mike Nolan, CEO of Fidelity National Financial. “We have been a leader in leveraging digital technologies, machine learning, and AI at scale to service clients and customers. Nadeau will continue to ensure FNF takes full advantage of the new capabilities AI can bring to our business.”

Nadeau joined FNF in 2018 and has shaped the company’s technology strategy through those years.

Fidelity is headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, and is one of the nation’s largest title insurance companies. It offers title insurance, escrow, and other title-related services, including trust activities, trustee sales guarantees, recordings and reconveyances, and home warranty products and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries.

AI has become a major focus in the mortgage origination and servicing worlds as companies realize its potential for efficiency and customer service.

Rocket, in particular, has doubled down on AI and recently hired a new Chief Technology Officer who will emphasize enhancing its artificial intelligence capabilities.

Varun Krishna, CEO of Rocket Companies, said the move made him confident the company will “quickly realize our vision of AI-fueled homeownership.”

Last month, leaders at the company announced Rocket Logic and Rocket Logic – Synopsis. The tools use generative AI to quickly automate manual tasks that humans would typically spend hours of time completing. This includes classifying documents, extracting client data, tracking sentiment, and recording client patterns and preferences.
