Newrez announced a new incentive program offering homebuyers and sellers closing cost kickbacks and other white-glove services.
Created with the help of Newzip, a tech-enabled real estate platform, Newrez Home Rewards gives homebuyers access to an advisor, moving assistance, and closing cost credits up to 0.5%.
Those who are also selling a home can get up to 1% in credits.
Buyers benefit both from savings and Newrez’s “unique concierge experience,” the company said.

Newrez launched a new conventional loan product geared towards low-income and first-time homebuyers, the company announced in a press release.
The product, RezSource, is designed to lower out-of-pocket costs for borrowers.
It allows qualified buyers to secure a 1% down payment, which can be sourced from various places including gifts, funds from family, support for non-profits, and assistance from government agencies, among other options.
At the same time, Newrez will contribute up to $5,000, based on the lesser of 2% of the appraised value or purchase price, easing the financial burden of homebuying.

Headquartered in Ridgewood, NJ, Carnegie Mortgage Partners allows homeowners in New Jersey to access a network of real estate agents offering mortgage product suites from Newrez and Newrez Ventures.

Lender and servicer Newrez teamed up with Keller Williams Georgia Legacy Group to launch a joint venture mortgage company, according to a press release.
The company, Onward Home Mortgage, will open for borrowers in the Southeast, giving them access to both Keller Williams’ real estate agents and Newrez’s resources.
Onward will be headquartered in Roswell, Georgia, and specialize in residential purchases.
