PrimeLending Offers Home Security To Borrowers

Mortgage lenders are trying all kinds of promotions to attract new borrowers, from rate buydowns to downpayment assistance. But PrimeLending is offering something unique: home security.

PrimeLending, a national mortgage lender, and SimpliSafe, a home security systems company, have announced a partnership to provide homebuyers with preventative smart home protection.

“Buying a home is an exciting new beginning and an important milestone we’re thrilled to celebrate by offering this special gift,” said Cheryl Hayes, Senior Vice President of Marketing for PrimeLending.

“We take pride in delivering our customers the confidence and peace of mind that comes from knowing they’ve made the right financial decision, and the SimpliSafe home security system is a great compliment.”

The Lender will provide borrowers with a no-cost “welcome gift” consisting of a 7-piece home security system from SimpliSafe. The system includes a SimpliSafe HD camera, motion sensor, entry sensors, and two free months of 24/7 monitoring.

“There is no better time to start thinking about home protection than when you move into your first home,” said Michael Bobich, Director of Partnerships at SimpliSafe. “That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with PrimeLending to put advanced home security technology and monitoring in the hands of new homeowners, providing not only protection but also peace of mind during this major life transition.”

Mortgage brokers are desperate to draw from a small pool of “rate-sensitive” borrowers who are cautious about purchasing a home. As mortgage rates continue to yo-yo between 6% and 7%, offers such as this may help push potential buyers over the edge and into a new home.

PrimeLending is a national home lender working in all 50 states for more than 35 years.
