Peachtree Group Adds To Exec Team

Atlanta-based Peachtree Group has promoted Brian Waldman to chief investment officer and appointed Jeremy Stoler to EVP, debt capital markets, the company announced in a press release.

Waldman will manage the company’s multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio and investment strategies across its distinct operating, lending, and real estate divisions.

He brings two decades of experience to the position, including Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets for Beacon Property Members, where he executed capital markets and other advisory assignments with an asset value of more than $8 billion.

He joined Peachtree in 2015. During his tenure, he has overseen transactions grossing about $6 billion.

“Brian has extensive investment and portfolio management experience and an in-depth understanding of the investment process. We are delighted to have Brian serve as our new CIO, and we believe his experience, skills, and leadership will be of great value to the company and help Peachtree achieve the next stage of significant growth,” said Jatin Desai, Peachtree’s CFO and managing principal.

Stoler will take over the support of Peachtree’s operating companies and growth into various other real estate sectors.

Over the course of his 25-year career, he has handled securitization and fund management, as well as originated more than $30 billion in mortgages.

Before joining Peachtree he ran his own real estate advisory firm, and also EVP and head of capital markets for a family office.

“With Brian and Jeremy, we are fortunate to have extremely talented, respected leaders who are highly experienced and energized to drive our growth,” said Greg Friedman, Peachtree’s CEO and managing principal.

“These announcements also come at a pivotal time for Peachtree as we further position ourselves to expand into other real estate sectors and businesses.”
