Matt Nader Named President Of First Home Mortgage

Matt Nader has been named president of First Home Mortgage, company leaders announced in a press release.

Nader has been with First Home since 2018, when he joined as a loan officer. He moved up to branch manager, then SVP and Director of Sales, before this pivotal moment in his career.

“It’s an honor to step into this new role at a company I deeply care about,” Nader said.

“First Home Mortgage is built on the values of trust, collaboration, and delivering exceptional results for our clients and partners. I’m excited to work alongside our incredible team to build on our success and embrace the opportunities ahead.”

Before First Home, Nader served as a senior loan officer for Bay Capital Mortgage and JP Morgan Chase.

As president, he will dedicate himself to enhancing client experiences and strengthening relationships with referral partners, as well as encourage growth.

First Home says Nader’s appointment “reinforces the company’s dedication to not only adapting to industry changes but also leading the way forward with innovation and resilience.”

“Matt has an incredible ability to inspire teams, deliver outstanding results, and drive innovation. I am confident that his leadership as President will be instrumental in shaping the bright future of First Home Mortgage,” said David Waters, Founder/CEO of First Home Mortgage.

First Home Mortgage is a licensed, full-service residential lender with 29 offices serving 21 states in the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic, and Southern regions. It was recognized by the Scotsman Guide in 2023 as a top 50 lender nationally by total volume.

Earlier this year, the lender announced a program allowing qualifying buyers to purchase a home with 3% equity but only a 1% down payment.

It also opened a new branch in Bethesda, MD, overseen by Chris Channell, a Scotsman Guide Top Originator.
